DF PROFINET IO | getting/setting the board´s network properties with the Network Configurator

Additional information

I want to know the boards serial number and mac address or the firmware version. I do not get the Network Configurator to work.

Hardware:

• DF PROFINET IO PCI/CPCI/PCIe

Solution:

In case you want to check if a firmware update is necessary on your board or change IP - Addresses.

• Therefore, connect the PCs Ethernet network port with the DF PROFINET IO Controller port (green LED on after booting)

• Compare the version string listed in the KUNBUS Network Configurator with the provided firmware file (in case of Update).

• Close LabVIEW and Configurator 3 before using the Network Configurator

• Eventually your firewall could block our software

• returns only to your Ethernet port connected controller or device. Device has to be started for getting seen in the Network Configurator.
