Issue
LabVIEW stop running with an DMA-Error using a PN-PCI-Board.
Instructions
Reboot your PC to change in the BIOS menu.
in BIOS navigate to the tab
Advanced
and choosePCI Subsystem Settings
.change
PCI Latency Timer
to128 PCI Bus Clocks
, then Save and Exit.At default this value is set to
32 Bus Clocks
. i.e. a PCI member blocks the bus for 32 bus cycles, before it releases it. Since nowadays PCI members are rarely used, you can set this value to higher numbers.
This option is very mainboard specific. You will find more information about it in the mainboard manual.
Please do not make any changes to your system you can not redo.
