Do you want to put a PROFINET slave device into operation? For this, it needs a PROFINET Device Name.

Preparation

Download the program Proneta: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/67460624/proneta-basic-3-2-inbetriebnahme-und-diagnosetool-f%C3%BCr-profinet?dti=0&lc=de-WW

Instructions

  1. Switch on your device, e.g., with 24V supply voltage

  2. Connect your PROFINET slave device with an Ethernet interface of your PC

  3. Start Proneta
