Firmware Update Modular Gateway Modules

This manual is only suitable for the following Modular Gateway modules:

Preparation

  • You have noticed an anomaly in one of the modules listed above

  • Send us a photo of the front side of your module

  • You will receive an archive from the Customer Support

Instructions

Make sure that the module is not disconnected from the power supply during the process

  1. Unpack the archive you received from the Customer Support

  2. Assign the module a network configuration so that you can reach the module in the network

  3. Connect to the module with an FTP program, e.g. FileZilla.

    1. User: Admin

    2. Password: 1701

  4. Copy the firmware file into the root directory - usually a KFU file

  5. Copy the content of the folder "targetfiles" into the root directory

  6. Wait until all transfers have been completed successfully

Reboot

  1. Now disconnect the device from power for at least 5 seconds

  2. Switch the device on again and wait at least one minute.

You can check the firmware version via

  • Login on the web frontend
