cRIO Supported Hardware

Issue:

Which NI CompactRIO hardware is supported by the KUNBUS GmbH CompactRIO Modules

  • cRIO PBMS (PROFIBUS Master/Slave)

  • cRIO PBAS (PROFIBUS Slave) mature

  • KUN 9883 (PROFIBUS Slave)

  • cRIO ECAT (EtherCAT Slave)

  • cRIO PNAD (PROFINET Device)

Solution:

Find below a summary of the supported NI Hardware

  1. Our CompactRIO modules are supported from all NI Hardware which is supporting NI´s “CompactRIO 14.0” and higher versions.

  2. The KUNBUS module: cRIO PBMS (PROFIBUS Master/Slave) requires the Configurator 3 for PROFIBUS configuration which supports the modules listed in the table below.

  3. The KUNBUS module: KUN 9883 (PROFIBUS Slave) is supported from “CompactRIO 18.0” and higher versions.

  4. We do support all NI CompactRIO hardware if 1), 2) and 3) are considered

    1. cRIO Controller

      1. 903X, 904X, 905X 906X, 907X 908X,

    2. cRIO Chassis

      1. 915X, 914X, 910X 911X

    3. PXI Boards

      1. 781XR, 783XR, 784XR, 785XR, 786XR

    4. sbRIO

      1. be aware that some boards do not have an appropriate connector for the cRIO module.

      2. 960X, 962X, 961X, 963X
