Sometimes it is helpful to investigate system files for a successful troubleshooting. This guide shall show how to gather files from the RevPi to a Windows system. As an example we are using the Kernel log and the PiCtory configuration.
Instructions
Copy the needed files to a temporary folder. Here we use “/var/log/kern.log” and “/etc/revpi/config.rsc”
Open the free tool FileZilla and configure the connection to the RevPi
Select the local and the remote folder and copy the files just by double klicking
Open an Explorer window, go to the folder i.e. c:\temp and see the files
