To get the Revolution Pi CODESYS examples up and running, the versions must be compatible.
Currently, the 64 bit image is not supported. If you would like to use CODESYS on the RevPi, please install the 32 bit version. https://revolutionpi.com/tutorials/downloads?noredirect=en-US
Regarding the release notes of the Revolution Pi Library for CODESYS the following versions are necessary:
- Revolution Pi Library for CODESYS V1.4.1.0 (ID: 7530)
- CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi 4.10.0.0 (ID: 7533)
- CODESYS Development System V3 | CODESYS Store International (3.5.20.X)

Edit the file
/etc/CODESYSControl_User.cfg
On the device itself via terminal session and that command
sudo nano /etc/CODESYSControl_User.cfg
Via copying it to your local machine, edit it and copy it back afterwards
Apply those lines
For CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi - 4.10.0.0
[SysFile] PlaceholderFilePath.2=/etc/revpi, $configrsc$
For CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi - 4.8.0.0
[SysFile] PlaceholderFilePath.1=/etc/revpi, $configrsc$
