Gateway module for serial network Checklist
You would like to commission the component 100068? Then you are in the right place.
Before you start, make sure that the device is disconnected from the power supply.
The POWER LED is not lit
If you use a script for your application
Set the DR switch to "0"
Load the script on the device
If you do not use a script for your application
Set the DR switch according to the used bitrate
The following steps apply regardless of the use of a script
Set the FR switch according to the used frame rate
Set the MD switch according to the used type of interface
Connect the fieldbus according to the used specifications from the manual
Connect the module to the second gateway component via the interconnect port using the Plug-In Jumper PR100101. Observe the notes in the manual in the chapter 4.3 Connecting Gateway Components
Now connect the 24V power supply to the device
Check the status LEDs
