You want to use RPiBoot and there seems to be no connection via USB? If yes, then you are at something doesn't work, you've come to the right place.

\uD83C\uDF31 Solution

  1. RPiBoot cannot be installed and there is a “TrustedPublisher” error?

    1. Disable the Driver signature verification.

  2. Check if the USB cable is intact. There are USB cables that come without all the necessary data lines.

  3. Check if you are using the latest downloads. Maybe the RPiBoot.exe, which is needed to communicate with the compute module under Windows, is available in a newer version.

  4. Try to connect using a Linux environment. Unfortunately, some USB related problems do not work under Windows but under Linux.

  5. Change the USB host, e.g. your desktop PC with a laptop or similar.

Info

For RevPi Core S/SE and Connect S/SE/4, RPIBOOT version Dec 16 2022 version 20221215 or higher must be installed.

To check this, start rpiboot. In the first line you will find the version.

  1. There are suspicious errors “cannot open file autoboot.txt …” - ignore them - it concerns optional files.
