Apply the step below

  • First, check which serial number of the CPU, you have.

  • License file are backed up under following path C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\Licenses.

  • Restoring the License in the License Manager. Note: you must be connected to your device and also to internet!

    • Click on “Tools”.

    • Select “License Manager”

    • Follow the wizard with the same settings that you used during the licensing operation.

    • Select “Soft container”.

    • Select “Device”.

    • Click on “install license”

  • Select a license by following the path C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\Licenses. In case you inside have many licenses files (.WibuCmRau) , you must try one after one, which one is right one for the device you are connected with. Sometimes the licence name refers to the CPU serial number of your device (e.g. 0000000087b275b1.WibuCmRau). Note: copy the licenses by following the path C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\Licenses and to another repository you will enter as shown in the following picture.

  • click on finish

If the restoring process with the license file is not successful, try it with the Ticket ID.

  • Click on “Tools”.

  • Select “License Manager”

  • Follow the wizard with the same settings that you used during the licensing operation.

  • Select “Soft container”.

  • Select the right “Device”.

    • You will get a new window

  • click on “additional functions”

  • enter the Ticket-ID and click on “finish”
